What PrintJoy stores, what it never sees, and how to get your data removed

2026/10/03

The short version

The free design tools run entirely in your browser. Whatever you type into a tag, a bingo card or a tracker page is drawn on your own device and never sent to us. PrintJoy only holds data for people who create an account: the email address your Google sign-in returns, a name and avatar if your Google profile has them, your credit balance, and a record of the generations you asked for.

What we collect

Account details. Sign-in is Google only. When you sign in we receive your email address, your display name and your profile picture, plus a Google account identifier so we can recognise you on your next visit. We do not receive your Google password and we cannot read your mail or your files.

Credit balance and generation history. If you use the AI generator we store how many credits you have, which generations were started or completed, and how many credits each one used. This is what makes an interrupted generation refundable.

Payment records. Card payments are handled by our payment provider. We receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded, the plan or credit pack it was for, and a provider reference so support can look it up. We never see or store full card numbers.

Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or email support, we keep the message and your reply address so we can answer and follow up.

What we do not collect

The browser tools never upload your text. Tag wording, bingo prompts, tracker labels, verse text and card messages stay in the page you are looking at; closing the tab discards them. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data to anyone.

Cookies and local storage

We set a cookie to remember your chosen language so the site does not ask twice, and an authentication cookie when you sign in. Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored in your browser, not on our servers. You can clear all of these from your browser settings; the free tools keep working, and you will simply be asked to sign in again if you had an account.

Where data lives

Account, credit and payment records are stored in our Cloudflare D1 database, and the application runs on Cloudflare Workers. Processing is limited to what the product needs: authenticating you, showing your balance, completing a purchase, and generating the design you asked for.

How long we keep it

Account and credit records stay while your account is open so your balance is correct. If you ask us to delete your account we remove your profile, credit balance and generation history, keeping only the minimum payment records we are required to retain for accounting.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Send the request from the email address on the account so we can verify it, and we will confirm when it is done.

Children

The tools are used by teachers, parents and children, but accounts are for adults. If a child has signed in with a Google account we will delete that account on a parent or guardian's request.

Changes to this policy

If the way we handle data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Anything that materially affects your account will also be mentioned in the changelog.
