Refund Policy
How refunds work for PrintJoy credits, subscriptions and downloads

The free tools
There is nothing to refund. Every browser tool on PrintJoy — tags, cards, games, coloring pages, ephemera, trackers, certificates, kids crafts and the general printable maker — is free to use and free to download from, with no account required. If a free tool exports a file you are not happy with, tell us what the printer did and we will help you fix the setting.
Credits
Credits are a prepaid balance for the AI generator. Two situations are covered automatically:
- A generation that fails on our side. If the request never produced a design, the credits are returned to your balance; you do not need to ask.
- A generation that returns nothing usable. If the result is blank or obviously broken, contact support with the time it ran and we will put the credits back.
Credits that were spent on a design you received and simply do not want to use are not refundable, because the artwork has already been delivered to you. You can keep generating variations with the balance you have, and the free tools remain available for anything that does not need custom artwork.
Subscriptions
A subscription renews until you cancel it. You can cancel from your billing settings at any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for — you keep access and any credits until then.
If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment and have not used the plan, email us and we will refund that payment in full. If you have used part of the period, contact us anyway: we refund unused periods at our discretion, and we would rather fix the reason you are leaving.
Credit packs
Credit packs are one-time purchases. If you bought a pack by mistake and none of the credits have been used, contact us within 14 days and we will refund it. Once credits from a pack have been spent on generations, that portion is not refundable.
EU, UK and other statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes rights you have under local consumer law, including the right to withdraw from a digital purchase within the statutory period where it applies. As a digital service, that right can end once delivery of the digital content has begun with your consent — which is why an unused balance is treated differently from a generation you already received.
How to request a refund
Email support from the address on your PrintJoy account with:
- the email address on the account,
- the date of the payment,
- the provider reference or a screenshot of the receipt,
- a sentence about what went wrong.
We reply within two working days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through the same provider that took the payment; the provider's own timeline applies once we have approved it.
Chargebacks
If a payment looks wrong on your statement, contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. We can usually resolve it faster, and an open dispute freezes the account while it is investigated.
