Frequently asked questions
Is PrintJoy really free?
Yes. All ten makers are free to use, with no account and no limit on how often you re-render or print, and the PDF or PNG you export carries no watermark. AI artwork is the part that costs: your first AI image each day is free once you sign in, and any further image spends credits - 1 credit on the standard model, up to 14 on the premium ones.
What do I get when I download?
A print-ready PDF or PNG rendered at 300 dpi. Choose US Letter or A4 before exporting and print at 100 percent, or Actual Size, so the measurements stay true.
Do I need an account?
No. The free tools run entirely in your browser and your text never leaves your device. An account is only needed for the credit balance that pays for AI generations.
How do AI credits work?
Credits are a prepaid balance for the AI image generator. One image costs 1 credit on the standard model and up to 14 on the premium models, spent from your account as you generate. New accounts start with no credit balance - the free image each day is how you try it - and you can top up or subscribe from the pricing page.
Can I sell what I print?
You can print as many copies as you need for personal, classroom and small-business use. The terms page sets out the details, including what is not allowed.
